Hand-painted decoration with genuine mineral cobalt and 22 karat gold of so-called ``Cobalt Net`` harmoniously fits into the elegant tulip shape. It has been created at the Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelian Factory. ``Cobalt Net`` became the winner of the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition of 1958 in Brussels and now it is a proud symbol of Lomonosov Porcelain. During the decades the brand set "Cobalt Net" continues to be in great demand.
The Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Factory was founded in 1744 in St. Petersburg by decree of Empress Elizabeth, Peter the Great's daughter. It became the first enterprise in Russia and the third in Europe. This factory is a unique phenomenon. Its porcelain represents indeed the traits of typically Russian perception of beauty.
