Visiting Cards Holder *Summer Garden*
Faberge-styled Souvenirs
Summer Garden is the oldest garden of the St. petersburg. The park was conceived by Peter the Great in 1704. Three years later, the walks were lined with a hundred allegorical marble sculptures. Also this park was chosen by Alexander Pushkin as a setting for childhood walks of the fictional character Eugene Onegin. The park remains one of the most romantic and evocative places in St Petersburg.
The name Faberge has attained something of a magical quality that sets the standard for beauty and elegance. Many of the members of the extended Romanov family collected pieces made by Faberge. Frames and clocks were very popular gifts since it allowed the givers the opportunity to celebrate special occasions, and commemorate such events for generations to come.
