For more than two hundred years history, the Pavlovo Posad school of a shawl design has been established at the Pavlovo Posad Shawl Manufactory, the only one in its kind, thanks to which the traditions are saved and the artists’ skill is perfected.
The factory was the first in the world which had introduced a plasma chemical treatment of fabrics before printing instead of using ecologically harmful chlorination. This fact has left behind other factories for many years, which start to realize all advantages of this method only now.
