This beautiful Russian porcelain mastiff figurine is one of the more than 300 colored figures of the famous ``porcelain zoo`` created by Lomonosov Porcelain Factory sculptors and painters. The Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Factory founded in 1744 in St. Petersburg by decree of Empress Elizabeth, Peter the Great's daughter, became the first enterprise in Russia and the third in Europe.
