This samovar set consisted of an electric samovar and a tray was handpainted with marvelous flowers in Zhostovo style by St. Petersburger’s craftsmen. From the moment of its appearance in the 18th century and during the 19th -20th centuries, a samovar is the main object of tea-drinking ceremony in Russia, an integral part of Russian national culture. It embodies hospitality and cordiality, cosiness and peace.
