This gorgeous samovar set consisted of an electric samovar and a tray was handpainted by St Petersburger’s craftsmen. It has been created in the Gzhel style, one of the best known in the world Russian handicrafts. Marvellous tracery executed in white and blue colors imparts a sort of airiness to it. From the moment of its appearance in the 18th century and during the 19th -20th centuries, a samovar is the main object of tea-drinking ceremony in Russia, an integral part of Russian national culture. It embodies hospitality and cordiality, cosiness and peace.
