Russian Valenki
Russian Valenki (traditional felt boots) represent one of the key symbols of Russia and its cultural heritage. The felt boot making (fulling) has always been, and remains to this day, one of the principal traditional trades in Russia. The valenki (hand-made felt boots) do not only possess a great historic and cultural value, but represent an artifact of great interest to the tourists as well.
They are combed, handmade of 100% sheep's wool according to the unique old technology. Valenki are able to resist the temperature down to 60 degrees centigrade below zero and even lower.
