These Russian watches were produced in the factory Vostok, which in 1965 became an official supplier of the Soviet Union Department of Defence.
This year marks the creation of the world famous "Komandirskie" (Commander's) wristwatches which demonstrate the highest standards of precision, reliability, and resistance to unfavourable conditions. At the end of last millennium Vostok hit the point with Komandirskie watches, which became one of the most popular and faked brands in the world.
Mechanical, 17-jewel (genuine rubies) movement. The first watch has the National Emblem of Russia, as the symbol of the sovereignty, eternity and unity. The second watch depicts the weapons of war and the five-point star that was the bright symbol of Soviet Period. The third one pictures the symbol of the frontier troops.
Water-resistant to 20 metres (66'). Sturdy chrome over brass case, graduated rotating bezel for timing, screw-down crown, inset date window. Illuminated hands and hour markings. Handsome leather strap. English instructions included. Never needs batteries!
