These Russian watches were produced in the factory Vostok, which in 1965 became an official supplier of the Soviet Union Department of Defence. This year marks the creation of the world famous "Komandirskie" (Commander's) wristwatches which demonstrate the highest standards of precision, reliability, and resistance to unfavourable conditions. At the end of last millennium Vostok hit the point with Komandirskie watches, which became one of the most popular and faked brands in the world. Mechanical, 17-jewel (genuine rubies) movement.
