These Russian watches were produced in the factory Vostok, which in 1965 became an official supplier of the Soviet Union Department of Defence.
This model is based on the "Amphibian" model called "Marine", it can be used during the diving (but not more than 200 metres). The watches feature ships, ancors and other things related with sea. Legibility of lunette and dial's inscriptions, antimagnetic properties of case, reliability of bracelet and clasp, everything is tested.
Amphibian watches have a calendar in the small window and a band turning in both sides (lunette) in order to set the time of submersion and decompression stages which are useful during lifting. Sensitive watch with gilded parts has shock resistant balance. Silicate glass. The 31-jewel, 31-hour automatic movement is enclosed in a waterproof stainless steel case. Comes with steel bracelet, passport and box.
