It has been handpainted by craftsmen from Russian North according to the folk art traditions. The North style in which it was made is very bright painting but with its own rules. It is executed in several colors – red, green and yellow on the natural wooden surface, because in the ancient times they were the most simple to get.
Before painter starts his work the wood turner makes a "part blank". Every egg is turned by hand with lathe. All eggs are made from natural wood. When detailed painting of Russian landscapes is ready, eggs are covered by the several layers of the lacquer. The lacquer adds glint to the doll and defends the pictures.
