Every item of bronze Sampo Bijouterie is more than just a bijouterie item. The original models of these decorations, found in the cource of archaeological excavations in Ingria and Karelia, and also in the Upper Volga region, date back to the period of 9th to 13th centuries.
One can see those finds at the Hermitage, in the Russian Ethnographical Meseum, in the Peter and Paul Fortress, in the museums of Old Ladoga and in many other historical museums.
