This attractive lacquer box is created in Kholui style by the talented Russian craftsman Kiselev B.I.
The beautiful and vivid picture tells us about the moment when Tsar Saltan chooses his bride from one of the three sisters. It is the beginning of the famous fairy tale poem by Alexander Pushkin "The Tale of Tsar Saltan". The artist draws the movements and expression of each face very unique.
The artist carefully painted every fold of clothing with gold and red colors. The box combines elegant style and fine craftsmanship and is made of papier mache.

The unbelievably colorful art of Palekh and Kholui is known in all countries of the world.
